Requirements
3+ years experience in software development
Fluency in Kotlin, ideally in the context of Android development
Experience building and integrating client code into a larger client codebase
Nice to have
Ability to learn and iterate on complex algorithms
Highly organized
Experience designing and running A/B experiments
Experience in Javascript/Typescript (in the context of building embedded modules)
Experience in Rust
Familiar with end user devices such as mobile phones, connected devices (XBOX), smart TVs
Experience integrating with native media/playback on devices
Experience with HLS and streaming video protocols
Job focus:
Optimize media player performance on a variety of end user devices
